What people are saying:

It's hard to say enough good things about Ashlie. Her creativity and art skills are amazing. Her energy, positivity, and enthusiasm make her magnetic. She is very effective at communicating with and teaching children and she keeps all the kids fully engaged for the duration of class. Kids leave her class having learned a ton about art techniques, media, history, etc. She's a rock star of an art teacher. Mike Delp

My 2 little ones only took a few non-consecutive classes while in Classical Conversations, so we didn't get the full benefits of her classes. However, I can say that Ashley is a joy to deal with. She is super friendly and definitely passionate about teaching art. :) Blessings, Yvonne I was very impressed with Ashlie's technique and ability to break down each art project into easy manageable steps that my 7 year old could understand. The art he brought home was just amazing considering we are not a very artistic family!! Thank you Ashlie. You are amazing!!! Melissa Abston

Thanks to Ms. Ashlie, I might just have a future art teacher on my hands. My daughter's always loved art, but spending this year in Ashlie's art class opened up a whole creative world to Claire. Art no longer just equals drawing or painting, but a whole array of imaginative mediums. The way that Ashlie connects art with art history is also something I'm particularly grateful for as a homeschool mom. Lisa Cash

My daughter took Ashlie’s art class this year in our homeschool co-op. She absolutely loved it. Ashlie really went above and beyond our expectations. Each week my daughter learned a new art technique and then incorporated it into an art project. Ashlie also used different types of media and taught her students how to create masterpieces with their own imagination. Her love of art really showed through in every class she taught. She was also fantastic with the children, from the little ones up to the older students. I was very impressed each week with her patience. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone. We will really miss her. Sandra and Gabriella Spiering

Ashlie taught an 18 week Art Class for our local Homeschool co-op this year. She taught children from ages 4-18. She taught 3 classes a day, and was ALWAYS full of joy and kindness. What is so impressive is that after spending that much time with this many children she was still in high spirits! =) My daughter took her class, and has grown so much in her Art at home. When a teacher is passionate about what they teach it rubs off on the children. And that is what we saw- passion instilled in so many children’s lives! We are so grateful to have had this learning opportunity! She is an inspiration to all she meets. Angela Tilsher- KMC Germany

Dear Ashlie, Thank you Mrs. Ashlie for all the different techniques you shared with us during our co-op. I know it will help me further my art in years to come. I hope you have a wonderful time in Colorado and your art business goes well. Love Abbie Braswell

The first thing that comes to my mind is 'bubbly' with a huge smile. Ashlie is a wonderful, loving, caring, talented and fun lady that I had the privilege to get to know through swimming class and her art classes at the homeschool co-op. She puts so much enthusiasm into her projects for the children and they fall in love with her immediately. Her love for art and life in general is contagious to everyone around her. My children will always remember Ashlie's art classes with fond memories and we will treasure all their awesome art projects they made in her class. We will miss her dearly and are envious of all the children that will get to spend time in Miss Ashlie's class in the future. She is the BEST!! Regards, Anja Bali

Our ten year-old son and thirteen year-old daughter took art classes from Ashlie over the last nine months. It was an outstanding experience foreach of them. They are both serious about their art and were not disappointed in the variety and complexity of each project. We also continue to enjoy their creations, as they are exhibited in our home. Regards, Gene and Raeni Russell
